Useful Information for our New Puppy Owners

Congratulations on your new puppy! We work hard to breed outstanding puppies that are not only gorgeous, but are, also, extremely smart, well behaved, and loving.

It has been an honor to raise your new puppy and prepare them for their new home. Your puppy has been raised using The Puppy Culture and the From Newborn to New Home methods. We have tried our best to introduce them to various sights, smells, and sounds to ensure that they are ready for their life with you.

We have started working on sit and walking on a leash with your pup. To sit, we raise our hand so that it goes from their nose to over their head. They follow our hand with their nose and sit. For the past few days, we have been making them sit to be petted. We have, also, been working to get your pup to come when call. We run backwards while clapping our hands and calling them. They have done quite well with coming to us when we do this.

While not fully crate trained, your puppy have been introduced to a crate. Your puppy has also been started on potty training using a fake grass puppy mat with a puppy pad underneath.

To help with transitioning to their new home, we have sent some of your puppy’s favorite toys home with them. Your pup and their litter mates have been playing with one of the toys so it has the scent of the entire litter and mom. The new toys are duplicates of toys that they have been playing with.

Your pup has been primarily fed raw, but has been introduced to Taste of The Wild Ancient Grains Prairie Formula kibble as a treat.

Your new puppy has been seen by our vet for a health check and to receive their age appropriate vaccinations. Your puppy has, also, been on a deworming schedule since 2 weeks of age.

We hope you enjoy your new puppy as much as we have. We will be here to answer any questions for you throughout your time with your new puppy

Best wishes,

Stephenie and Bob Bunzel
